BOBBY GENE BROWNING, age 58, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on November 14, 1958 in Welch, WV to the late Cleveland Browning, Jr. and Edith (Myers) Browning.

Bobby is survived by his wife of three years: Shelly L. (Rogers) Browning; two daughters: Miranda Browning of Seoul, Korea and Ana Oliver of Havre de Grace, MD; brothers: Kerry (Kelly) Browning of Potsdam and Jerry (Sheryl) Browning of Troy; sisters: Susie Browning of Tipp City, Patty (Tim) Wall of Potsdam and Elizabeth Bloomfield of Tipp City; the boys: Max and Buddy; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Larry O. Browning.

Bobby was a 1977 graduate of Troy High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army, where he was a tanker.  Bobby was a member of Troy Fish and Game and the NRA.  He loved fishing, camping and anything to do with the outdoors.  Bobby especially enjoyed big family get-togethers.  He was employed by Jim's Towing and Recovery.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Bob Bell officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Full military honors will be presented by Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy at the cemetery.  Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
