Blanche McKenzie, 85, of Troy, Ohio died Wednesday August 30, 2006 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born September 21, 1920 in Troy, Ohio to the late John and Mary Shiverdecker Johnson She is survived by her daughter Pamela Beemer of Troy, Ohio; her sister Virginia Oiler of West Milton, Ohio; and her grandson Michael Beemer of Troy, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son -in-law Lawrence "Eddie" Beemer. She was a member of the Troy Loyal Order of Moose, the Piqua Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Greene Street United Methodist Church in Piqua. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 5, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Baird Funeral Home. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton, Ohio Contributions can be made to the Donors favorite charity.
