Billilou "Bobo" Conard, age 97, formerly of Montgomery County and more recently of Troy, OH, passed away on February 13, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1927 in Dayton, OH to the late William H. and Mildred E. (Cole) Gaddis.

She is survived by her four children: Susan (Mike) Leemhuis of Nicholasville, KY, Sally Conard of Troy, OH, Tom (Nancy) Conard of Cincinnati, OH and Joe (Nan) Conard of Troy, OH; niece: Judi Newell of Clayton, OH; and six grandchildren: Krista Leemhuis, Andrew Leemhuis, John Conard, Abby Jane Conard, Caroline Conard, and Roselyn Conard. She was preceded in death by her husband: John T. Conard; sister: Nancy Newell; and nephew: Bill Newell.

Billilou was nicknamed Bobo by a child neighbor who could not pronounce her given name of Billilou. Bobo was a tomboy and excelled in sports, especially field hockey and tennis in both high school and college. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1949 and was a member of KKG Sorority at OWU.

She was a dedicated 'domestic engineer' to her family. She loved watching sports, especially Duke basketball and the New Orleans Saints. She also loved history, reading and staying up with current events. She enjoyed traveling and connecting with the friends of her children. She attended concerts, plays, and other cultural events. She was a member of the 1945 Fairview reunion committee.

Bobo was adored by her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by them and all of the family. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM on May 3, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
