Beverly Lucas, age 69, of Troy, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Vancrest of Upper Valley in Troy.  She was born on March 29, 1955, in Troy to the late John E. and Margaret E. (Honeyman) Francis.

Beverly is survived by three children: Betty Jo (Clifford) Christman of Sidney, Patricia (Michael) Curl of Houston and David John Lucas of Temple, TX.; nine grandchildren: Ashaya (TJ) Morris, Sharae, Hannah, Makayla and Jonathan Lucas, Kristina (Alex) Cost and Patrick, William and Isiah Curl; seven great-grandchildren: Violet and Addie Cost, Harper and Brayson Curl, Malachi Lucas and Evenegline and Danielle Morris.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: David Lucas, Jr.; one sister: Rose Marie Francis; and one granddaughter: Kara Marie Sue Christman.

Beverly was a 1975 graduate of Troy High School, worked at Fairs Greenhouse for 30 years and retired from ARC abrasives in Troy. She enjoyed playing bingo and putting puzzles together.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
