Beverly A. Elrod age 88 of Tipp City, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, peacefully at home on March 7, 2024.  She was born in Troy, Ohio on August 29, 1935 to the late Eugene and Annabelle (Carey) Knife.  Beverly was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Beverly's Christian faith was important to her life and she encouraged others to God's love.  She was an active member of Christian Life Center in Vandalia, Ohio.  She cherished her family and enjoyed gardening, reading, antiques and decorating the family home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Leland in 2017 and a daughter, Tracy Lynn Rasor in 2010.  She is survived by a brother, Bill (Theresa) Knife, daughter Holly (Jon) De Ford and son Mark (Barbara) Elrod.  Her priceless grandchildren, Heather (Ted) Watter, Nevin (Janay) Rasor, Zachary (Brooke) Rasor, Paul (Jennifer) Rasor, Jack (Kiersten) De Ford, Charles De Ford, Renee De Ford, Marissa (DJ) Zerkle and Mason Elrod.  Beverly was honored to be a Great Grandma to Ellie, Max, Declan and Luna.

Services will be held at 4:00PM on March 16, 2024 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Private interment will take place at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  The family will receive friends from 2:00PM – 4:00PM at the funeral home.
