Beverlee Aikens McDonald passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the age of 84, after a brief illness. She was born November 12, 1940 in Berkley County, WV to the late Paul and Margaret (Elwood) Aikens.
Beverlee leaves behind her beloved life partner of 62 years: Charles Stevens; daughter: Robin McGrath of Troy; step-daughters: Debi Sipe of Huber Heights and Connie Stevens of Fairborn; daughter-in-law: Lauren Stevens of Stevenson Ranch, CA; grandchildren: Joshua (Jamie) McGrath of Troy, Rachael (Brandon) Collins of Troy; step-grandchildren: Roger and Valerie Hall of MI, Ben and Becki Stratton of KY, Nate and Lisa Stevens of Springboro and Madeline Stevens of CA; great-grandchildren: beloved Autumn McGrath of Troy, Bailee (Noah) Menner of IN, Beau Ryan Hall of MI, Abbi (Nate) Chambers of KY, Olivia Stratton of KY, Blake Stevens of Springboro, Michael Stevens of Fairborn, and soon to be a great-great grandparent of baby Menner; niece: Terrie Harne of VA; great nephews: Justin Harne of VA and Dylan Harne of VA and great-great nephew: Rowen Harne of VA. In addition to she was preceded in death by: Eugene and Mollie Davis; son: Paul Wesley McDonald; brother: Richard Aikens; sister: Patricia Stevens; sons-in-law: Jerry Sipe and Marvin McGrath and stepson: Charles Stevens, Jr.
She loved traveling, spending time with her family especially during cookouts and celebrations. Beverlee will be greatly missed by all her family and her many friends especially her Sub House family and friends serving as a partner with her daughter Robin for those 30 years.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens, Vandalia. We would like to thank the doctors and staff at Kettering Health Troy for their care and compassion during her time of need.
