Betty Zell, age 90, of Troy passed away on February 4, 2022 at the Koester Pavilion.  She was born on March 30, 1931 in Sidney to the late Frank and Mary (Harris) Stahl.

She is survived by her two children: Steve and Patty Zell of Casstown and Roberta Jacobs of Troy; grandchildren: Sara (Jason Bowman) Zell, Cortney (Adam) Romer and Taylor (Nick) Adami; great grandchildren:  Haley and Tyler Demmitt; Myah and Avery Romer; and Link and Remy Adami; and two dear friends: Virginia Comer of Sidney and Alice Daugherty of Troy.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Zell on July 4, 1972; her son: Gregory Zell; three brothers: Franklin, Charles and Harry Stahl and one sister: Lela Shane.

Betty was a 1949 graduate of Green Township Schools.  She was a lifetime member of the AmVets Post #88 Auxiliary and was very proud to be involved in the children's events each year.  She was employed with ARC Abrasives over 40 years.  Her family and friends were very important to her and she will always be remembered for her happy and on-the-go attitude in life.

Services will be held at 1:30PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Interment will take place in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
