Betty (Melvin) Woolery, age 96, of Troy, OH passed away on December 24, 2022 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient.  She was born on December 13, 1926 in Troy to the late Lloyd and Cora (Wildermuth) Melvin.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Lee Woolery of Troy, Thomas and Jenny Woolery of Loveland and Susan and Andy Glover of Worthington; grandchildren: Ben (Marianne) Woolery, Adrienne (Woolery) Snow, Julie Glover and Anna Glover; great grandchildren: Lila and Clara Woolery; siblings: Harold Melvin and Jerry Melvin both of Troy and Linda Pfister of Blairsville, GA and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse: Robert L. "Speed" Woolery and siblings: Lloyd, Robert, Forest, William and Cecil Melvin, Marsha Melvin and Helen West.

Betty was a graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.  She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

A Private Graveside Service will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
