BETTY VORE

BETTY L. VORE, age 87, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born in Springfield, OH on June 19, 1927 to the late Robert F. and Mildred R. (Beck) Wilkey.  Her husband, Kenneth E. Vore, preceded her in death on December 9, 1996.

Betty is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Larry R. and Pamela Vore of Piqua; one daughter and son-in-law: Linda J. and Robert Watkins of Sidney; one grandson: Clay Westfall of Troy; one step grandson; four step granddaughters; three great grandchildren; ten step great grandchildren and six step great great grandchildren.

Betty attended Troy High School.  She worked at Hobart Corporation in Troy for 25 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
