Betty Weethee, 72, of Tipp City, passed away on July 13, 2023, after a brief illness. Her loving family was by her side.

Born on June 22, 1951, in Greenup County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Madge Opal Adkins. She graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 1969.

Betty married her beloved husband Charles Richard Weethee on September 7, 1968, and he survives. She is also survived by son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Michelle Weethee of Tipp City; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jeanette Weethee of Tipp City; four grandchildren, Ashton, Brennan, Nik, and Alex; and brother, Billy Adkins of Troy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline and brother, Paul.

Betty retired from the Miami County Municipal Court and enjoyed traveling, sewing and spending time at their home in Oak Harbor, Florida. She was immensely proud of her family, and the life she and Rich built.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Baird Funeral Home in Troy. The Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m. with an hour of visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Glover will be officiating the service.
