Betty Jean Wagner Betty Jean Wagner, age 89, a longtime resident of Casstown, OH, more recently of Troy, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Caldwell House, Troy. She was born April 11, 1918 in Casstown, Ohio, to the late Floyd H. and Mary Frances Knoop Duff. She was married to Howard C. Wagner who preceded her in death on October 14, 1993. Mrs. Wagner is survived by her very special friend, Richard "Dick" DeWeese of Troy, Ohio; son, Allen Beverly Wagner of Troy; four grandchildren: Lisa Mudrick of New Jersey, Jim Jackie Wagner of Conover, Ohio, Scott Kim Wagner of Troy and Tom Risha Wagner of Lancaster, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Howard, Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her son, James and his wife, Karen, Wagner; two brothers: Melvin H. and Robert W. Duff; and one sister, Mable Steinle. She was a member of Casstown United Methodist Church and also the Casstown United Methodist Church Women's Society. She attended Lostcreek Schools. Mrs. Wagner worked at Stouder Memorial Hospital for 25 years and retired as Supervisor of the Laundry Department in 1977. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating. Interment will be at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
