Betty Marie Ryan Betty Marie Ryan, 81, formerly of Troy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Bend, Oregon on December 14, 2007. She was born May 8, 1926 to the late Roy and Lona Holder Kenton. She married Robert Ryan on December 19, 1948 in Sidney, and he preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Bud and Frank Kenton. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Jackie Ryan of Prineville, Oregon, Michael and Nancy Ryan of Bend Oregon and Patrick and Linda Ryan of Troy; two daughters: Toni Ryan of Bend and Amy Harms and husband Darryl of Bend; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Betty was a graduate of Sidney High School in 1944. She was a secretary at Troy Gravel for many years. After moving to Bend, she was a secretary for Hendrix, Brinich, and Bertalan law firm. She volunteered for 5 years with COBRA and enjoyed bowling, bridge, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
