Betty L. Miller Betty L. Miller, age 88, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 2:00AM on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born on March 19, 1921 in Troy, Ohio to the late Allen Brown and Armour Schaeffer Brown Hanna. She was married to Willard N. Miller, who survives. The two would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on May 14, 2009. In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ted L. and Dottie Miller of Troy; daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy and Bill Folck of Troy, Ohio and Tinsi and Harvey Olds of Flint, Michigan; sister, Rosalie Jarrett of Cocoa Beach, Florida; grandchildren: Michele Folck Bundy Fred of Huntsville, Alabama, Aaron Miller Nancy of Sidney, Ohio, Andy Miller of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Wendy Folck of Troy, Ohio, Stephanie Koske of Flint, Michigan, Jennifer Haulman Monnin Steve of Russia, Ohio and Jeff Haulman of Troy, Ohio; and great-grandchildren: Katelyn and Jacob Miller, Freddy Bundy and Christina and Austin Monnin. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul Brown and Bobby Hanna. Betty was a graduate of Troy High School. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy, Ohio, Eastern Star, Elks Ladies Social Club and the Troy Senior Citizens Center. She worked at Riverside and Troy School Systems as a Teacher's Aide for a number of years. Betty loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed playing cards, joking around and simply being with people. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Carol Bastin officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 5-8PM Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
