Betty Elifritz Marr, 85 years old, born March 2, 1920 in Troy, Ohio died Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Koester Pavilion. Predeceased by her parents, Carlton W. & Christine Hales Elifritz; her husband, Paul E. Marr on August 2, 1984; one son, Douglas C. Marr on May 13, 1999; one brother William "Pete" Elifritz of Michigan on June 4, 2005. Deeply loved mother and special friend to son James and wife Barbara Marr of Troy, Ohio; daughter Sharen and husband Robert Tait of Upland, California. She is survived by three loving sisters, Phyllis E. Short of Piqua, Ohio; Martha and husband Homer Jackson of Christiansburg, Ohio and JoAnn and husband Bill Goodin of Troy, Ohio; and one sister-in-law; Nancy Elifritz of Michigan. Much loved grandmother of Cynthia Marr of Troy; Scott Marr of Troy; Julie and husband Scott Sheehan of Piqua, Trevor and wife Audrey Raham of Los Angeles; Brian Raham of Alaska; Heather and husband Shane Wallace of LaVerne, California; John Tait of LaVerne, California and eight great-grandchildren. Betty will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and by her extended family in California. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 11:00AM at the Troy Church of the Nazarene, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 2-4PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
