Betty Kingham of Troy, Ohio died Saturday, August 28, 2005 , 6:30PM at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Betty was born January 21, 1927 in Troy, OH, the daughter of Clarence T. and Florence Day Francis She is Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert E. Kingham 1993; sister, Margaret Dilworth 4/26/05; and 2 brothers; Dale Francis and Joe Francis. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Kathy and Bill McIntosh - Troy; Amy Jo Kingham- Troy; son and daughter-in-law: Casey and Debbie Kingham - Valdosta, GA ; grandchildren; Jason Kingham and wife Jennifer - Ramstein, Germany Betty was an Avid volunteer for ARC of Miami, Co. She was named mother of the year by Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council. She helped start the 1st Residential group home for mentally handicapped individuals in Miami, Co. Betty was a Career Homemaker and was previously employed as a key punch operator at Braun Meat Packing, Troy, OH. Friends may visit at Baird Funeral Home Wednesday between 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 11:ooAM at Baird Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Dr. Richard Culp. Burial will take place at Casstown Cemetery.
