Betty Jane Kessler, age 91, of Troy, OH passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Upper Valley Medical Center.  She was born on April 14, 1926 in Selinsgrove, PA to the late Clarence F. and Pauline (Musselman) Hoke.  Betty married her husband, Jay Don Kessler on May 26, 1973 and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2016.

Betty is survived by seven brothers: Francis, Richard, William, Charles, Robert, David and Donald Hoke and five sisters: Dorothy Hinkle, Marlene Trautman, Patti Whitmyer, Judy Connelly and Mary Gearhart; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:  Douglas J. and Pam Kessler and Alice A. and Robert Schlemmer all of Troy.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Betty was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one brother-in-law.

Betty was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #256 of Troy and the White Shrine.

Services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. Allen Marheine officiating.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.  The family will receive friends from 12:00PM-1:00PM on Wednesday  at the funeral home.  Eastern Star Services will precede the funeral service on Wednesday.
