Betty E. Hirsch Deeter, 79, died at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio on Monday, March 31, 2003. Mrs. Deeter is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Albert Gross, and Lori and Kevin Pyers; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Linda Deeter; brothers, Charles Howard Hirsch and James Lowell Hirsch; sister, Marilyn McAfee; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was a member of Lost Creek United Church of Christ, Staunton Grange and Casstown I.O.O.F. Mrs. Deeter retired in 1988 from Hobart Corporation and was employed with Dettmer Hospital until 1992. Visitation will be from 4-7PM on Thursday, March 3, 2003 at Baird Funeral Home. There will be a service at 10:30 AM Friday, March 4, 2003 at Baird Funeral Home with a family friend, Rev. Gary Petry officiating. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, Ohio
