BETTY L. ETHERINGTON

Betty L. Etherington, age 85, of Tipp City, OH passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Genesis Center in Troy. She was born on May 29, 1929 in Troy, OH to the late Carmen and Pauline (Shaw) Gray. She was married to her husband of 52 years, William E. Etherington and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1999.

Betty is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Scott and Barbara Etherington of Tipp City; David and Pam Etherington of Piqua and Donald and Jamie Etherington of Piqua; son-in-law, Ronald Loughman of Casstown; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and sisters: Janice Hartley of Troy and Ruth McElfresh of ID. In addition to her parents and her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Robin in 2009; her daughter, Cindy Loughman in 2012; sister, Gloria Albright; and cousin, Bill Fox.

Betty was a member of the Nashville United Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Lost Creek Schools. Betty retired from A. O. Smith after 34 years of service.

Services will be held at 10: 30 AM on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Vandalia, OH. The family will receive friends from 9:30–10:30 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
