Betty L. (DeBaun) Byrer, age 89, of Troy, OH passed away on June 17, 2023 at SpringMeade Health Center in Tipp City, OH.  She was born on August 18, 1933 in Shelby County, IN to the late James H. and Frances Mitilda (Dugan) DeBaun.

She is survived by her sons: Robert James Byrer of Shelbyville, IN; Billy Byrer of Troy and Chris E. (Terri) Byrer of Troy; daughters: Vicky L. (Jerry) Kniess of Troy and Patricia (Ronald) Smith of Piqua, OH; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Eugene Byrer and siblings: Bud, Bob, Jimmy, Jack, Richard, Donna, Violet, Doris, Marjorie and Evelyn.

She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Troy.

Services will be held at 6PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Pastor Matt Harbour officiating.  Private interment will take place in Fairview Park, Elnora, IN.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4-6PM on Friday at the funeral home.
