Betty L. Cavanaugh, age 81, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Upper Valley Medical Center.  Betty was born on October 29, 1936 in Xenia, OH.

Betty is survived by her five children:  Lonnie Cavanaugh of Troy, OH; Betty Jane (Ron Deitch) Cavanaugh of Clarington, OH; Emily (Tabitha Crawford) Cavanaugh of Piqua, OH; Helga (Glenn) Leap of Piqua, OH and Carl C. Cavanaugh, Jr. of Piqua, OH; sister: Ruth Ann Gershbach of Xenia, OH; brothers: Marvin (Violet) Webb and Kenny (Pam) Butts all of Cedarville, OH; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Betty was preceded in death by her grandmother: Laura Colvin who raised her; parents: Arthur "Buster" Webb and Maryann Taylor; husband: Carl Clarence Cavanaugh, Sr.; daughter: Connie Fergerson and sister: Enid Gilland and brother: Kenny Webb.

Betty was a member of the New Horizon Church of God in Troy.  She loved fishing, embroidery, her church and spending time with her family.

A Service will be held at 12:00PM Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the New Horizon Church of God, 527 North Market Street, Troy, OH with Pastor Joe Hill officiating.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
