Betty L. Bair, age 97, of Casstown, OH passed away on October 30, 2023 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born on March 8, 1926 in Troy, OH, to the late Howard R. and Mary Mae (Littler) Snyder.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Rodney and Susan Bair of St. Paris; grandchildren: Trevin (Jerisann) Bair, Jerrod (Amy) Bair, Seth (Donna) Bair, Kennan Bair, Roger Bair and Andrew Bair; great grandchildren: Regan, Dylan, Ayden, Gracie, Drew, Audrey, Levi and Nathan; sister-in-law: Jean Crego; several nieces and nephews; and three very close friends: Patty Beason Taynor, Norma Gillfilin and Janet Knife.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years of marriage: Frank Bair; son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Diana Bair; siblings: Glen Snyder and Dale Snyder.

Betty was a member of Lostcreek United Church of Christ and Miami County Farm Bureau.  She was also an 85 year member of Cove Spring Grange.  Betty was active in 4-H and loved to sew, cook and travel.  She worked at Miami East Local Schools, where she was Treasurer.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Lostcreek United Church of Christ, 7007 E. Troy Urbana Road, Casstown, with Pastor Jason Egbert officiating.   Interment will be in Casstown Cemetery at a later date.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon on Saturday at the church.
