Betty Apple, age 97, of Troy, OH passed away on September 23, 2024 at Kettering Troy Hospital. She was born on May 3, 1927 in Miami County, OH to the late Lowell and Effie Mae (Lucas) Sentman.

Betty is survived by her children: Vikki Waddingham of Harrowsmith, Ontario,  Debra Bird of Spring, Texas, and Joseph Apple of Oakridge, Tennessee; grandchildren: Cherri Waddingham, Morgan Bird, David Bird, Ben Apple and Haley Apple; and five great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister: Sarah Buirley.

Betty was the owner and operator of Unique Creations in Lima.  She had previously owned and operated Lynn Ann Jewelry.  Betty was a member of Troy Church of the Brethren.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery in Troy with Pastor Jon Keller officiating.
