Bessie Frances McCaslin Bessie Frances McCaslin, 86, of Troy, OH, died at 5:58AM Tuesday, May 08, 2007, at Heartland of Piqua, Piqua, OH. She was born November 29, 1920 in Franklin Furnace, OH, to the late Ernest and Mary Leona Schultz Price. She was married to Don R. McCaslin of Troy for 38 years. In addition to her husband, Bessie is survived by three sons: Rev. Robert R. Linkous of Huber Heights, OH, Larry K. Linkous of Tipp City, OH, and Danny Ray Linkous of Tipp City, OH; one daughter: Claudia E. Marcum of Sardinia, OH; two stepdaughters: Elisebeth Sullivan of Venus, FL and Joy Lou Neill of New Carlisle, OH; two siblings: Dorothea Jacobs of Indian Lake, OH and Goldie Roberts of Yuma, AZ; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Linkous; maternal grandparents, Edward and Deborah Schultz who raised her; nine siblings; one stepson; and one grandson. Bessie attended Wheelersburg High School. She was a member of the Alcony Grace Church and was a member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 256, Troy. Services will be 10:30AM Friday, May 11, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with grandson, Rev. Stephen Marcum and son, Rev. Robert Linkous officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. An Eastern Star Service will take place at 6:30PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Friends may call from 5-8PM Thursday at the funeral home.
