Bertha E. Cruea Anderson, 86, of Piqua, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the Piqua Manor Nursing Home in Piqua, Ohio. She was born on January 10, 1917 to the late Ora & Mary McConnell Cruea. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Willard E. Anderson who passed away on April 1, 1980. Also preceeding are four sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Anderson is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Collins and husband Frank of Troy, Ohio, and Dorothy L. Alexander and husband Charles F. of Piqua, Ohio. Also surviving are a sister Mary V. Anderson of Summerville, Fl., and a brother, Orville Cruea of Hilliard, Ohio. Mrs. Anderson has 5 granddaughters and 4 great-grandsons. Mrs. Anderson attended the Snyder Road Church of God in Piqua, Ohio. She retired in 1987 as a housekeeper with Dettmer Hospital in Troy, Ohio. Pastor Michael Milthaler of Madison Avenue Church of God in Piqua will be officiating.
