Bert M. Arthur, Jr., 74, died at his residence on Tuesday, March 26. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Helser Arthur; son and daughter-in-law, Kurt M and Kem Arthur; daughter, Cynthia Louise Arthur; sons and daughters-in-law: Karl and Deb Greulich, Von and Kim Greulich, Eric and Linda Greulich; daughters, Ann Greulich and Lisa Greulich; cousin, Carolyn Evilsizor; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert M. and Lula Reed Arthur, Sr.; his first wife, Mary Louise Fry, one brother, two sisters and one grandson. Mr. Arthur was a lifelong member of First United Church of Christ; WWII Navy; Past Exalted Ruler of BPOE #833; Franklin Lodge F&AM #14; Antioch Shrine; Past President of Miami County Shrine Club; Loyal Order of Moose #1044. He was a graduate of Troy High School. He retired in 1989 from Hobart Brothers after 39 years of service; member of Milestone Club. Visitation will be from 4-8 Thursday, 3/28 with Masonic Lodge Services at 7:30PM. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM Friday, 3/29 with Rev. Al Bastin officiating. Contributions may be made to First United Church of Chirst Kitchen Fund or Kidney Fund.
