Bernie D. Gheen Bernie D. Gheen, 72, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away at 7:55AM on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born November 15, 1935, in Ezel, Kentucky, to the late Alfred T. and Hazel Bolin Spradling. She married Robert E. Gheen who survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Gheen is survived by her son, Rick Havens of New Carlisle, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Kelly Corrigan of Vandalia, Ohio; stepdaughter, Donna Rue of Troy, Ohio; brothers: Johnny, Mickey and Barry Spradling of Kentucky; sister, Roberta Petzoldt of Sarasota, Florida; four grandchildren: Russ and Brad Havens and Kelci and Sydni Corrigan; and two stepgrandchildren: Kaylee and Hunter Rue. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Teddy and Larry Spradling; and sister, Marie Vest. Mrs. Gheen was a member of Ginghamsburg Church and a volunteer with the Clothesline at the church. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Private interment will be at the Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
