Bernice Sue Ridenour, of Troy, died suddenly at Miami Valley Hospital on Friday, January 12, 2007. She was born in Richmond, Indiana on August 11, 1947 to the late Wilson A. Bernheisel and Regina P. Damrell Boyle. Bernice is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kelly and Tannia Hartman of Pleasant Hill, OH; two sisters, Velma Phil Walters of Vandalia and Barbara James Metzler of Dayton; a brother, Gary Nancy Bernheisel of Medway; three grandchildren: Kevin Wood, Avery and Alex Hartman along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She will also be greatly missed by her co-workers at the Ohio State Highway Patrol. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Fritz. Ms. Ridenour was a 1965 graduate of Northridge High School. For the past 17 years, she worked for the Ohio State Highway Patrol Piqua Post 55. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Matt Harbour officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, New Carlisle, Ohio. Visitation will be on Friday, January 19, 2007 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
