Bernice Doll Chase died at Maria-Joseph Center in Dayton, Ohio on July 31,2001. She is survived by one son, C. William Doll, one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Sylvester Herrmann; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Doll Howes, C. Stephen Doll, Sally Doll, William D. Doll, Gary A. Herrmann, Debbie Herrmann, Gail Herrmann Niles; six grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ella Potts Sloan, her first husband,William R. Doll, her second husband, G. Edward Chase, sister, Lucille Sloan and her daughter-in-law, Louise Hart Doll. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Troy; Order of Easter Star #257; Women of Moose #1025 where she was Past Sr. Regent and Troy Senior Citizens. Memorial contribuitons may be made to Maria-Joseph Living Care Center in Dayton or charity of one's choice.
