Bernell I. Jackson Bernell I. Jackson, age 91, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 3:52AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. She was born on January 26, 1921 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to the late David C. and Esther Carlson McQuown. She married Christopher Jackson in 1939 and he passed away in 1979. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Magdaline Jackson of Troy; sister, Betty Swanson of Youngstown, Ohio; son-in-law, Cliff DeHaven of Troy; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia DeHaven. Mrs. Jackson had been a resident of Troy since 1966. She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens, Troy Moose Lodge, and the Troy Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Ron Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
