Beatrix L. Stafford, age 96, formerly of Troy, OH and more recently of Nebo, NC, passed away on August 19, 2024.  She was born on August 15, 1928 in Troy, OH to the late Vayle L. and Ethel I. Criteser.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Michael L. and Rebecca J. Stafford of Nebo, NC; sister: Gayle Meyers of Troy, OH; grandchildren: Rachel L. (Joshua) Adamski of Tampa, FL, Kelly  (Scot) Raap and Jaime Bayman both of Aberdeen, SD; great grandchildren: Aiden Raap of Aberdeen, SD and Marley J. Adamski of Tampa, FL.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Marla Criteser; daughter: Judy Bayman; husband: Robert L. Stafford and brother: Vayle Criteser.

Beatrix was a graduate of Troy High School and was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Troy, OH.  She was employed with General Telephone Company, retiring in 1984.

A graveside service will be held at Miami Memorial Park, 7875 N. Crescent Road, Covington, OH at 1:00PM on August 28, 2024.
