Beatrice J. Schatzley Beatrice J. Schatzley, 92, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 6:45PM on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Harborside Health Care Center, Troy. She was born October 8, 1915 in Pleasant Hill, Ohio to the late Warren and Della Waymire Thompson. Her husband, Thomas K. Schatzley, preceded her in death on February 7, 1989. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Frances and Robert Long of Troy, Ohio; son: Thomas K. Schatzley, II of Pleasant Hill, Ohio; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and one grandson, Stephen Robert Long. Mrs. Schatzley attended Newton Schools. She was a former member of the Sharon Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, West Milton, Ohio and was a lifelong member of the First Brethren Church, Pleasant Hill, Ohio. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
