Barbra H. Kruse passed from this life on March 16, 2024 in Troy, OH. Barbra was the daughter of John P. Harris and Miriam L. Miller; she was born in Reisterstown, MD on February 25, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Norman Harris; and husbands: Edmund W. Smith and John A. Kruse.

She is survived by her children: Cabrini De La Rosa, Greenville, OH; Michael Smith, Baltimore, MD; Jeffrey Smith and wife Angela, Baldwin, MD; and Sanford Smith and wife Beth, Tipp City, OH. Barbra is also survived by her sisters: Ruth Ann Fuhrman and Delores Harris, both of Hanover, PA. Barbra has nine grandchildren: Matthew, Alex, Arturo, Ashley, Kathryn, Adam, Megan, Daniel, and Emma, five great-grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tipp City. Barbra loved gardening, her faith, her children, grandchildren, and her extended family. In her younger years she enjoyed golfing and traveling.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on March 27, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church in Tipp City, OH with Kristen Zimmann officiating. The disposition of Barbra's ashes will be private.
