Barbara E. Holfinger, 75, of Fredericktown, Ohio and formerly of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Friday, March 12, 2004 at the Knox Community Hospital, Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She was born on April 22, 1928 in Troy, Ohio to the late Harley F. and Bessie M. Battson Schisler. She is preceded in death by her parents, and he husband, Franklin R. Holfinger. She is survived by her three children and their spouses. Stephen and Cynthia Holfinger of Lexington, Ohio; Mark Holfigner of Fredericktown, Ohio; and Roger and Michelle Holfinger of Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Also surviving are sisters and brother-in-laws: Lesla and Russell Wogoman; Beverly and Don Stumpff; Martha Skinner; Elaine and Dick Simon; Evelyn and Harold Stambaugh and Jody Adams. Brother and Sister-in-law: Tom and Mary Schisler; Sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws: Lois and Carl Reck; David and Kay Holfinger; Ella and Jack Selander and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She has seven grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher, Brandon, Emily, Nicole, John and wife Stacia and Elizabeth Holfinger. Two great grandchildren, Matthew and Jordan. She was former Choir Director at the Church of the Nazarene in Troy, Ohio. She was a 1946 graduate of Troy High School and attended Olivet College. She was former owner of Hobart Agency in Mansfield, Ohio. The Rev. Ronald Barber will officiated the service with burial at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
