Barbara (Baker) Gertrudes, age 79, of Tipp City, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at her residence.  She was born on May 1, 1943, in Perry, NY, to the late Wilburn and Mamie Baker.

Barbara is survived by one brother: Johnny Baker of Lexington, KY; two sisters: Peg (Johnny) Smith of Richmond, KY and Phyllis (Roger) Riddell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Baker and James Baker; two sisters: Mary Bagley and Mabel Stepp.

Barbara attended school in Baltimore, MD.  She also attended South Baltimore General Hospital School of Nursing.  She was a registered nurse.  Barbara proudly served her country as a member of the US Army.  She enjoyed reading and walking in the park.

Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, September 23, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church in Tipp City.  Interment to follow in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Friday, September 23, 2022.
