Barbara Ann Burnside Barbara Ann Burnside, age 71 of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:40AM on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Troy Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 13, 1939 in Troy, to the late Charles D. and Martha J. Schaefer Burnside. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Douglas K. and Ann Burnside of Piqua, Ohio; sister and a brother-in-law, Janet and David Plantz of Troy; nieces and nephews: Angela Irvin Hinton of Mesa, Arizona, Laurie James Sasanko of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, Brian Denise Gunder of Troy, Judy Ann Russell Webb of West Milton, Ohio, Joseph Kim Plantz of Troy and Adam Plantz of Troy. She was also survived by many additional nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her mother, Martha in 1971 and her father, Charles in 1995; sister, Judith J. Edmonds; and brothers: David L. Burnside, Donald L. Burnside, Marvin E. Burnside and Robert C. Burnside. She attended church services regularly and was a retired homemaker. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
