Barbara A. (Buchmeier) Warner, age 80, of West Milton, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at home.  She was born on August 4, 1941, in Crete, IL to the late Emil and Laura (Hohmann) Buchmeier.

Barbara is survived by her children: Wendy (Richard) Debar of Horner, WV and Karen (Russell) Webb of West Milton; siblings: Lloyd (Alma) Buchmeier of Crete, IL; Jeanette Amstein of IL; Lawrence (Sharon) Buchmeier of Monee, IL; Linda Kiel of Warren, IN; and Cindy (LeRoy) Matthias of Monee, IL; grandchildren: Richard (Rebekah Clark) Debar; Sarah (Gianina) Debar; Lucas (Rachel) McKinney; Conner Staley and Logan (Kimmy) McKinney; great grandchildren: Owen, Audrey, Kylee, Ethan, and Mateo and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband: James R. Greig; her second husband: Doug Warner; son-in-law: Mark Staley; and siblings: Virginia Wilson and Emil Buchmeier, Jr.

Barbara was a graduate of Crete-Monee High School in Crete, IL.  She retired from the Hobart Welding School, Anna's Early Beginnings Daycare, and First United Methodist Church Nursery.  Barbara loved horses and especially her grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 4PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 2-4PM prior to the service.
