A.W. Lee, age 71, of Troy, OH passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born on August 31, 1943 in Cookeville, TN to the late John and Elizabeth (Elmore) Lee.
A.W. is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda R. (Sark) Lee; daughters and sons-in-law: Maria T. and Errol Hendricks of Houston, TX and Melissa A. and Charles Green Jr. of St. Clair Shores, MI; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lilliard and Sharon Lee of Troy and John and Debbie Lee of Covington; sisters: Lola and Edwin Watkins of Piqua; Mary and Tony Marino of Pleasant Hill and Katherine and Carl Perkins of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren: Gregory, Mary, Emily, Joshua, Elyce, Preston and Samuel and great-grandson: Landon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother: James Lee and sisters: Carolyn Knox and Amelia Buchanan.
A.W. served his country in the US Army. He retired from the Northwest Airlines after 25 years of service.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Baird Funeral Home with son-in-law, Pastor Charles Green Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH with Veterans Honor Guard services at the graveside. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
