Austin Lyons, 69, of Medway, Ohio passed through this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at the Kettering Memorial Hospital in Dayton, Ohio after a bried illness with cancer. He was born on October 9, 1933 to the late Alva & Corda Knisley Lyons. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Virginia E. Silvers Lyons in 1993. He is survived by 3 children; Daniel & Catherine Lyons of Cincinnati; David Lyons of Troy; and Darin S. & Sheri Lyons of Pickerington, Ohio. Also survived by 6 grandchildren; Geoffrey, Megan, Emily, Alyson, Taryn and Ashton. Also many friends. Mr. Lyons was a member of the Fairborn Senior Citizens. He retired in 1987 from the Federal Governmnet after 30 years of service. He also worked at DESC & WPAFB. Contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
