AUDREY P. EMERICK, age 89, of Troy passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Caldwell House in Troy.  She was born on October 22, 1924 in Troy, OH to the late Grevey and Pearl (McGinnis) Wright.  Audrey married Charles Richard Emerick.  He preceded her in death on December 10, 1980.

Audrey is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Sherry and Richard Francis of Versailles, OH; one son and daughter-in-law: Donald D. and Janet Emerick of Powell, OH; five grandchildren: Jim (Debbie) Francis, Jeff Francis, Jeanette Whitaker, Kelly Emerick and Kim Emerick; six great grandchildren: Brian Duncan, Kristina and T. J. Whitaker and Matthew, Danielle and Kale Francis; two great great grandchildren: Alex and Xavier Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.

Audrey was a 1941 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Troy.  Audrey was also a former member and past matron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #256, Troy.  She was a loving homemaker.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Baird Funeral Home , Troy with Pastor Dale Christian officiating.  Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.  Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.  A special service will be offered by Order of Eastern Star Chapter #256 at 7:30 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
