Arthur E. Phyillaier Arthur E. Phyillaier, age 98, of Troy, Ohio passed away at 11:24AM on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. He was born on December 13, 1911 in Owosso, Michigan to the late Lewis and Lizzie Gute Phyillaier. His wife of 55 years, Ida M. James Phyillaier, survives. He is also survived by one brother, Richard Phyillaier of Lodi, California and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by three brothers: Elvin, Paul and Fred Phyillaier and one sister, Rose Schultz. He was a graduate of Milton Union High School; a US Air Force WWII Veteran and a member of Troy Church of the Nazarene. Arthur retired from Hobart Corp. in Troy. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Ronald Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, Ohio.
