Arhur L. Knoop, 89, died at Alterra Sterling House of Troy on Monday, February 24, 2003. Mr. Knoop is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey L. and Mary Ann Knoop of Cincinnati,Ohio and son-in-law, Robert Anderson of Anna, Ohio. Mr. Knoop also has six grandchild and three great grandchildren. Mr. Knoop was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel C. and Ruth Alice Rench Knoop and his wife, Alice M. Riley Knoop; daughter, Caryll Anderson, two brothers and three sisters. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio; Franklin Lodge #14 F & AM of Troy; Hobart Corporation Quarter Century Club. He was a 1931 graduate of Lostcreek High School. Mr. Knoop retired in 1975 from Hobart Corporation after 41 years of service. Visitation will be from 12:00 -2:00PM Friday, February 28, 2003 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. A service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 28 with Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
