Arthur F. Gagnon, 83, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Monday, September 27, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born September 2, 1921 in Cohoes, New York to the late John and Rose Dame Gagnon. He is surviced by his wife of 59 years, Mildred C. Mazurkiewicz Gagnon and there children, Sons & Daughters-in-law: Tom & Sue Gagnon of Troy, Ohio; Larry & Kathleen Gagnon of Troy, Ohio; Daughter & Son-in-law: Sue & Bill Weber of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He has eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don. He was a member; Eucharistic Minister and Lector at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio. He was a Veteran of the US Army during WW II, and married in Rome, Italy on July 10, 1945. He was a family man with numerous interest in fishing, hunting, carpentry and cooking. He retired from Schering-Plough Corporation in Cleveland, Tennessee. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio with Military Services at graveside by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with Rev. Fr. James Duell at 11:00am, Friday, October 1, 2004. Contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio or St. Vincent DePaul.
