Arline Z. Baldwin Shafer, 81, died on Monday July 8, 2002. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and Jerry Lamka and Tanna Sue and Robert Adcock; sister, Miriam Hayes; seven grandchildren, James and Steven Lamka; Lori Fast; Robert McKenney; Cynthia Rowe; Sandra Dame; Julia Eernisse; 15 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Mrs. Shafer was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Dessie Fosnight Gorrell; her first husband, Dean Baldwin; and second husband, Carlton Shafer. Mrs. Shafter was a member of the Vandalia congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 3:00PM Saturday, July 13 at Baird Funeral Home with John Blockkberger officiating at a service at 3:00. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio Memorial contributions may be made to Vandalia Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
