ANSEL "CREE" CARROLL, age 38, of Troy passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Grandview Hospital Emergency Room in Dayton.  He was born on August 23, 1975 in Middletown, OH.  Ansel is the son of David Carroll of Sommerville, OH and Rebecca (Mike) Hollon of Middletown, OH.  Ansel was married to Tina (Borland) Carroll.

In addition to his wife and parents, Ansel is also survived by three children: Madeleine Highman, Andrew Highman and Alexis Carroll, all at home; one sister: Brandy Daniels of Cincinnati, OH; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law: Marcia (Norman) Frantom and Craig (Linda) Borland all of Sidney; and grandmother: Mary Agnes Carroll.

Ansel graduated from Trenton High School.  He enjoyed riding his Harley, 4-wheeling, hunting and spending time with his family.  Ansel was employed at AK Steel in Middletown, OH.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH with Rev. Jonathan W. Schriber officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy, OH.  Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
