ANNA LOUISE LEAPLEY

ANNA LOUISE LEAPLEY, age 91, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on September 9, 1923 in Troy to the late Irvin and Ruth (Sharits) Weaver.  Anna married Foster Leapley on May 23, 1942.  He preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by three children and their spouses: Gloria and Wayne Mott of Clyde, Steve and Pam Leapley of Englewood and Julie and Steve Campbell of Troy; four grandchildren: Steven Tad Leapley, Wayne Rodney Mott, Bradley H. Mott and Stephanie Neilsen; eleven great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by brother: Duane Weaver; sister: Betty Zimmerman; and infant sister: Juanita Weaver.

Anna was a graduate of Troy High School and a member of First United Church of Christ in Troy.  She was a member of Family Campers and RVers (FCRV), Roamin' Trojans Camping Club and Alcony Grange.  Anna's family was very important to her.  She will be missed for her smile, laughter and positive outlook.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Lauren Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
