Anna "Oma" Gibson, age 84, of Huber Heights, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, on her 64th wedding anniversary to return to the arms of her beloved husband, Benjamin.  She was born on January 30, 1941, in Kroisbach, Hungary, to the late Josef and Katarina (Haas) Sumalowitsch.

Anna is survived by children: Vernon (Michelle) Gibson of Troy, Connie (Ron) Finlaw of Springfield, Harold (Stephanie) Gibson of Dayton and Robert "Bob" (Cindy) Gibson of South Webster; two sisters: Theresia (Paul) Reiter of Kirchheim, Germany, and Katarina Dozier of Augusta, GA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin Walter Gibson; siblings: Josef Sumalowitsch and Magdalena (Mathais) Kessler; and brother-in-law: Harold Dozier.

Anna enjoyed gardening, knitting and baking.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday.
