ANNA B. (BOGGS) JOHNSON

ANNA B. (BOGGS) JOHNSON, age 81, of Troy, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her residence.  She was born on February 25, 1934 in McMechen, WV to the late Okey and Lucy (Friend) Boggs.  Her husband of 56 years, Clarence Johnson, preceded her in death.

Anna is survived by one son: Dusty Johnson of Moundsville, WV; one daughter: Kathy (Matt) Rousseau of Troy, OH; two sisters: Betty Noble and Arletta Short; one brother: Ernie Boggs; seven grandchildren: Dusty (Melissa) Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Billy (Cassie) Johnson, Tommy (Jennifer) Johnson, Jerry (Coleen) Shimp, Scott (Tina) Shimp and Melissa Gunn; and ten great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by one daughter: Deborah Shimp.

Anna was a member of the VFW, Senior Center and Ash Avenue Church of God, all in Moundsville, WV.  She was formerly employed by Marx Toy and Moundsview Healthcare.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2016, Ash Avenue Church of God, Moundsville, WV with Pastor C. J. Plogger officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH.
