Anita Sue Layman, age 67, of Troy, OH passed away on May 17, 2024 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati.  She was born on April 11, 1957 to the late Richard Widener and Elizabeth (Raveling) Widener.

She is survived by stepmother: Roberta Widener of Troy; her children: Allison Sherrill of West Lafayette, IN; Christina Cotterman of Thornville, OH; Melissa Sauder of Piqua; Stephanie Schlater of Piqua; Sean Sauder of Hudson, NH; Brianna Layman of Troy; and Tori Layman of Troy;  siblings: Linda Collins of Niceville, FL; Ronald Widener of Pickerington, OH; and Julie Mader of Niceville, FL; and grandchildren: Caleb and Gavin Gallagher; Braylon Rhoads; Aidan Gorman; Anna Beinker; Samantha Meilner and Zachary Tudder.

Anita was a 1975 graduate of Miami East.  She raised Boston Terriers and was a bus driver for Millcreek-West Unity.   She enjoyed baseball and NASCAR and watching her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 4-7pm at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
