Alonzo ''Lonnie'' Lewis, 64, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on May 21, 2004 at 8:05am at the University of Cincinnati Hospital after and extended illness. He was born in Tennesse on March 5, 1940 to the late Vess and Hazel Cameron Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Gerry Quinn Lewis and his six children; sons, Jason Lewis of Troy; Shannon Ruth Lewis of Rota, Spain; Vess Marla Lewis of West Milton; Luke Charlotte Mayo of Raleigh, NC; Gordon Marcia Mayo of Indian Lake. And one daughter, Alana Adkins of Indian Lake. He is survived by his sisters; Rosalee Hubbard of Kentucky; Wanda Kurt of Jamestown, NC; Patricia Lovejoy of Maysville, KY; Linda Stewart of Maysville, KY; Dottie Potter of Tipp City, Ohio and brothers, Gail Lewis of Knoxville, TN; Clark Lewis of Winchester; Phillip Lewis of Maysville, KY; Curtis Lewis of Maysville, KY. He has 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger Lewis. He was a member of the Troy Fish and Game Club. He was employed with NK Parts in Troy. There will be a Private Family Service, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
