Obituary

Alma Lucille ''Amy'' Wartsbaugh, 71, of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born on January 6, 1933 in Otway, Ohio to the late George and Cora Belle Charles O'Harrah. She was married to George Wartsbaugh on October 20, 1951; and he survives. Alma is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Carol and David Granger of Troy, Ohio and Lyn and Ronald Bray of Chadron, Nebraska; one sister, Evaughn Taylor of Decatur, Ga.; four grandchildren, Amy Granger; Brittany Granger; Ashley Bray and Rebecca ''Paige'' Bray; two nephews and two nieces; one great-niece and three great-nephews. Her parents, and one brother, Robert R. O'Harrah, precede her in death. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Troy, Ohio; active in the women's fellowship and served as kitchen coordinator for the church. She was a former member of Eagles Auxiliary, Troy, Ohio. She was a graduate of Otway High School and attended Miami-Jacobs Business College in Dayton, Ohio. She retired from Kroger's. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and pups. There will be a memorial service held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, Ohio, with the Rev. Carol Bastin officiating the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call at the Baird Funeral Home on Monday, May 31, 2004 from 3-6PM. Contributions may be made to the Educational Funds for Alma's grandchildren, C/O Edward Jones, 49 S. Dorset Road, Troy, Ohio 45373 or the First United Church of Christ Kitchen Fund, 120 S. Market Street, Troy, Ohio 45373.
